Programme for 18th January

Hi there,

Happy New Year!

Kids' Whirled starts again next Saturday 18th January with "Follow your dream", our new season of worldwide films and animations to make you and your children travel, smile, sing and dance those winter blues away.

Check our programme now to see what's coming up in the next couple of months. And save the date of Saturday 8th February when our screening will be followed by a free dance workshop for all, small and big, led by Havana's Homero Gonzalez, one of the most experienced and accomplished teacher and performer of Cuban dance in the UK today!

To kick off this inspiration-filled season, we start next Saturday with School of Rock, dubbed 'the first kid movie that parents will like more than their children' when it first came out ten years ago. If you haven't seen it yet, or haven't seen it with your kids, now is the time to get your leather trousers out of the cupboard, 'raise the goblet of rock' and share it together on the big screen. Unlike those leather trousers, the film has not aged at all.

Great for kids, parents and grand-parents alike, it features a classic soundtrack, fantastic young actors and of course the exuberant oddball looser Dewey Finn (Jack Black) whose heavy-metal passion will 'test your head, and your mind... and your brain too'.
