Dear All,

Thank you to all of you who sent in your choices and opinions on changing the programming days.

Approximately a third of members responded with answers and comments.

Of those of you who voted 80% were happy for us to change the programming days around, therefore Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays will be our primary screening days.

With regards to the issue of additional screening days in the future, Sunday came out as the most popular other screening day. Results for this were Sunday:Monday:Tuesday 72%:7%:21% respectively.

However because we have been reaching capacity regularly we will not be dropping the Saturday night slots at least in the near future but will be using the Wednesdays as an additional screening day so hopefully it's a win win situation for all. This will however give us the opportunity to take more than the currently allotted 1 private hire per month if necesary.

Rob will be updating the programme in the coming weeks to reflect this so please check the website for details.

With regards to additional screening days, Sunday looks like a winner especially over the winter months so we will keep you posted on this.

Mailing Lists

The cinema operates with two mailing lists; this one which is for members only and is used for members only info. We also have the Whirled Cinema mailing list which appears on our website. This is an open newsletter used to send out our weekly programme to anyone who wishes to receive it. If you wish to receive these weekly updates please subscribe at http://www.whirledart.co.uk. Renewing Memberships

We are now closed to new applications, however existing members will of course be allowed to renew. You will be sent a reminder two weeks before your membership expires with a link to our application form and payment page. Please use this to renew your membership.

If you do not wish to renew please let us know and we can offer your place to someone else. If you do not contact us and allow your membership to expiry for more than a week we will presume you no longer wish to be a member and again we will offer your spot to someone else.

If you wish to keep your membership but do not want to renew immediately as you are away or some other reason please let us know and we will work with you on that.

Weekly memberships will only now be available to members who wish to bring additional guests.

Joint Memberships

There seems to be some confusion with regard to joint memberships and the ability to bring guests. Just to clear things up if it's not clear in our T & C's Joint Members can only bring a guest for free when only one of the Joint members are present.

If this is an issue for you please drop us a line and we are happy to discuss alternative options with you.
